Young Readers

I define “young readers” as children in kindergarten through first grade. These are children who are just beginning to learn how to read which makes it a very important time for them. I read with young readers to help children learn to feel the joy of reading a book. Furthermore, I always make sure that our sessions are enjoyable by making games out of what we do and choosing fun books together. When people are having fun learning, they tend to learn more easily.

I help children understand what they are reading in order to maximize their enjoyment. Overall, my sessions are very educational, fun, and exciting.
